A little psychology. A lot of real life.

A PSYCHING LIFE COLLECTION

Game day.
A little more together.

The story behind getting everyone together, what to wear, what to bring, and something fun to do once you’re there.

For us, game day can be about more than the game. It’s a chance to get everyone in one place. It can also bring up expectations about what that time together should look like.

Here’s a place for both: the honest story and the practical pieces that help you make a day of your own.

THE STORY BEHIND THE DAY

Together, and still
feeling left out.

We had planned a day with all eight of us. As our kids get older, getting everyone in the same place takes more coordination. An outing together starts to carry a little extra meaning.

Our game-day chapter explores the expectations and conversations behind the plan, and what it takes to find each other when we feel disconnected.

WHAT TO WEAR

Comfort comes
with us.

Full outfit guide

Start with what you own. For Bills fans, bring in red, blue, and white. For another team, make the colors your own.

The comfortable classic

Team tee + relaxed jeans + comfortable sneakers + an easy outer layer

For a Bills color combination, try a blue tee with a red layer, or keep the clothes neutral and add a red cap. You don’t need every piece to match.

The extra-layer plan

Long-sleeve base + team sweatshirt + weather-appropriate jacket + comfortable pants

Check the forecast before you leave. Choose the outer layer and shoes for the conditions, then bring in team color with your sweatshirt, hat, or scarf.

The watching-at-home outfit

Oversized team top + leggings or joggers + comfortable footwear

Pick the version that feels like you. A red sweatshirt with blue jeans works too. There’s no need to dress for the stadium if your seat is on the couch.

Make it fit your day

At the stadium: Fill in predictions before kickoff and keep the carry-in list manageable.

At the tailgate: Share setup and cleanup jobs, and try a short trivia round.

At home: Put prediction sheets near the snacks and let people join between everything else.

The plan helps. Making room for each other is the point.
